I had grand plans this year…I really did.  Every year I eagerly watch my garden grow anticipating the day when i can start canning. This year, for the first time in many years, we had spring rains.  Every one was excited as we watched our gardens grow and grow and then slowly begin to die.  Everything was growing beautifully and then all of the leaves on the plants began to turn yellow.  My squash even died…I mean really, squash will grow in even the worse conditions.

Even though I don’t have a lot of produce to can this year, I still look at canning recipes.  I ran across this  recipe from  Putting Up With The Turnbulls  and thought I would pass it along to those of you have peaches.
