DIY – Peg Board Jewelry Holder

I have had this pegboard for several years now.   I have had it vertical and horizontal and have changed the color a couple of times.  This is such an easy DIY project that even if you feel you have no carpentry skills, you can make this.

DIY – Peg Board Jewelry Holder

I purchased the materials at Home Depot and the total cost was less than $25.

  • Supplies needed:
  • Peg board – you can get it  in various sizes.
  • Some type of board to hold the peg board away form the wall so you can put your pegs in.  This could be small pieces of wood or a piece of moulding like I used.
  • Small finish nails
  • Pegs – This set is $11.87 at Home Depot
  •  Pegboard Organizer Kit (43-Piece)

  1. Paint your peg board the color you want it.
  2. Attach your peg board to a small board with a small finish nail.  This can be done at the top and bottom or sides of your peg board.

3. Once you have attached your moulding/board it’s ready to hang.  It can be hung using picture hangers, hooks or screw them directly into the wall like I did.  You could probably use command hooks if you are in an apartment or dorm room.
