TORTELLINI WITH ITALIAN SAUSAGE
I’ve never met a tortellini that I didn’t like. Hot soup or cold salad….if it has tortellini, it’s going to be good.
This Tortellini with Italian Sausage is such an easy recipe and it only takes one pot which means that not only does it taste great, but there’s only one pot to wash. Dinner doesn’t get any easier than this.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb of Italian sausage (I used Johnsonville)
- 19 oz. Three-Cheese Tortellini (I used Buitoni – It’s in the deli section of my local Walmart)
- 2 Cans Diced Tomatoes (I used mild Rotel)
- 4 Cups of chicken broth
- 8 oz of cream cheese
- 1 bag of spinach
DIRECTIONS
Brown the sausage in a large pan. Drain grease if desired. ( I used a paper towel to soak up most of the grease)
When sausage is done, add the rest of the ingredients and cook until spinach is done and cream cheese is melted.
That’s it ! It’s that easy.
* This is also a great crockpot recipe. Brown the sausage and dump everything into the crockpot. Cook on low for 2-3 hours. Be sure to give it a good stir after the cream cheese melts so all of the flavors blend together.
