PAN FRIED PORK CHOPS
There are so many different ways to cook pork chops. They can be baked, grilled, and slow cooked. My choice for the night was fried.
Simple, quick, and oh so delicious pan fried pork chops. It doesn’t get any easier than this.
The recipe below is very basic so feel free to add seasoning to suit your taste.
INGREDIENTS
5 to 7 Pork Chops
1 cup All-purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt (I use Everything but the Bagel seasoning)
1 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 – 1 cup vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon Butter
Salt & Pepper for seasoning meat
INSTRUCTIONS
Rinse pork chops. Salt and pepper both sides of the pork chops.
Combine flour and seasoning. Dredge each side of the pork chops in the flour mixture, then set aside,
Heat vegetable oil over medium to medium-high heat. Add butter. When butter is melted and butter/oil mixture is hot, cook pork chops at a time, 4 to 6 minutes on the first side then turn over and cook 4 to 6 minutes on the other side.
The cooking time will depend on the thickness of the pork chops. Thin breakfast pork chops will probably not need to cook as long while thicker cuts may need to cook longer.
