Nacho Fries
This is really not a recipe. It’s just making nachos and using french fries instead of chips. I have a freezer full of french fries that my daughter bought but never ate. I had been toying with the idea of nacho fries every since I had seen them at a mom an pop restaurant I ate at while out of town. Since I am having my cholesterol checked in a couple of weeks, I decided to be good and leave off all of the chili, meats, sour cream, and anything else fattening you can think of. I stuck with a little bit of cheese, avocado, onion, tomatoes, and I baked the fries instead of frying them. Here is a list of ingredients to try: avocados, guacamole, tomatoes, salsa, onions, lettuce, sour cream, beef, chicken, chili, jalapenos, olives, beans, shredded cheese, nacho cheese, What do you put on your nachos? On another note,……I was preparing an avocado one day when a friend looked over at me and said ” I didn’t know you could do that.” I had cut the avocado into neat little squares and scooped them out without getting my hands dirty. In case you are one of those people, this is for you……..
Begin by cutting the avocado in half
Gently cut lines into the avocado. If you want cubes, cut horizontally and vertically , creating the size cubes you desire.
Take a spoon and gently scoop the avocado out.
This picture gives you a better idea of what it looks like.
You now have slices or cubes and without your hands getting messy!
